Hilliard Inferno Flame / Fire Drive Sprockets, in multiple chain-drive pitches of #35 or #219. We carry a full selection of sprockets and gears for your Hilliard clutch for karts! These sprockets are designed to work with modern Hilliard clutch drums and needle bearing systems.
For your reference, the drive sprocket fits into the exploded diagram in the photo gallery as part #15.
Drive sprockets aid in transfer of power from the kart engine to the clutch, and then on to the drive train. Depending on your ideal gear ratio at your specific track, the drive sprocket you may choose can vary. That's why we carry a bunch of them! At the track, and in the shop, we constantly are chatting gearing with our racers - adjusting your drive sprocket chain pitch or tooth count is the best way to optimize your gearing.
Designed to mate with the Hilliard 'Inferno' series of clutches, these sprockets must fit within the 'star' pattern of the clutch drum face. Multiple contact points alleviate stress on the drive sprocket and drum interface, which prolongs the service life of your drive train.
Note: Each drive sprocket is held in place with the aid of a snap ring / circlip placed on the reverse side of the drum / drive sprocket interface. Drive sprockets shipped here do not automatically include a snap ring with them.
#35 sprockets are available in tooth counts: 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19.
#219 sprockets are available in tooth counts: 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22.
