Briggs 206 Exhaust Header Bolt Kit

Exhaust bolt kit for the Briggs & Stratton Briggs 206 racing engine for go karts. This kit includes (2) M6 x 25mm metric bolts with associated lock washers. The bolts are cross-drilled to accept safety wire. In addition, a length of safety wire to secure the bolts in place once tightened is also included.

Overview

One of the weak spots of the Briggs 206 or F2000 engines is the exhaust header system. Mounting this to the engine properly, and not having it come loose has been the bane of many racer's existence. With this kit, prevent losing your exhaust mid-race, and make sure you are technically compliant!

Each M6 x 1.0 metric pitch bolt included in this kit is hardened to be resistant to excessive heat, and features cross-drilling through the head of the bolt to aid in the insertion of safety wire to secure the bolt in place. Also included are two heat-hardened lock washers that help to further prevent loosening of the bolts once tightened. Lastly, a length of standard safety wire complements the kit, allowing an all-in-one solution ready to go for a racer track side to grab and go in a moment of need!

Each kit is sold as pictured, separately. Each kit includes:

• (2) M6 x 25mm hardened steel metric bolts (uses 5mm allen)
• (2) M6 lock washers
• (1) length of standard gauge safety wire (approx 4")
