Selecting the Correct Brake Pad Compound
These brake pads are available in two compounds: Red Carbon, and "G 1054" Black.
- Red Carbon is for all-around braking performance. This compound is the best choice for most kart racers. It provides a progressive yet strong braking feel across a variety of brake rotors and driving styles.
- The "G 1054" pad is intended for ceramic rotors, and high-horsepower or performance applications. It provides aggressive braking action with immediacy to the braking system under hard braking.
