CKR's Marlin cadet chassis is their answer to the mini and cadet kart market. Available in both 950mm and 1010mm chassis variations, the Marlin is an adaptable chassis that excels across the board of cadet categories, from Briggs 206 powered classes to higher-horsepower Rotax and ROK cadet applications.

The CKR Marlin is ideal for Briggs Cadet, Rotax Micro Max, Mini Max, and Mini ROK or Micro ROK.

Chassis Overview

Each CKR chassis is hand - TIG welded by CKR's experienced artisans, in an effort to increase the life of the chassis over traditional welding practices. Eliminating the 3rd bearing allows the cadet kart to be more free-rolling, which is an excellent application for the lower-horsepower cadet engines.

The Marlin comes standard with the Sniper SA-1 caster/camber alignment system, allowing infinite adjust ability for the front geometry. Adjustable ride height, track width, and toe application are also standard. In addition, the pedals and steering system are highly adjustable to fit a variety of driver sizes and comfort tastes.

The Marlin comes with the latest generation of hydraulic brakes from CKR and CRG, a floating rotor design that incorporates a vented steel rotor and lightweight brake caliper design, giving precise braking feel while eliminating rolling resistance as the floating rotor helps for self-adjustment of the brake pads as they wear.

Bodywork for the Marlin cadet is designed with both aesthetics and safety in mind; Higher nose height in the front and along the side pads prevent some impacts from worsening due to the angle of impact with younger drivers. A combination of bodywork types allow for a more aerodynamic look and performance.

Shipping & Seat Sizing

The Marlin is available standard with the IMAF F6 fiberglass resin seat as standard. Additional seats are available on request, including the F6 Rombo Silver or H7 models, but for most drivers these are likely not the ideal choice. For sizing of your seat, consult the seat sizing chart available here, or in the image gallery.

Purely as a reference as you begin to measure your own dimensions, an average adult male driver, height 6' 0", with waist 33-34 will fit a size 3 seat quite well. Most children will fit an F6 XS, or Mini 0 or Mini 1 well depending on dimensions.

For shipping of the Marlin chassis, typically overland, LTL freight carrier is the ideal mode for timely and cost-effective kart shipments. Once ordered, typical shipment time is 5 days - 1.5 weeks depending on destination. Point Karting.com has found that shipping directly to your nearest central shipping hub for a carrier is best, as this eliminates additional costs to the buyer, and is more reliable than a commercial or private residential delivery.

Each chassis is sold separately.
