For CKR, even the youngest racer is a champion to encourage to be their best! The Halibut model is the perfect solution for the Kid Kart solution, ideal for drivers ages 5-8. With driving consistency and safety the mort important factors at hand for younger drivers, the Halibut takes control of this with added plastic components to prevent drive train from becoming within the range of the driver.
Adjustability to suit the driver is built into the Halibut in spades. From adjusting the pedal area, to the steering, and even the braking feel, even the smallest drivers can be comfortable in the Halibut so that they can race at their best without distraction.
The Halibut is available with either a Comer 50cc engine system, or the Honda GXH50 engine. Depending on your region of competition, one engine option may be more popular than another. Each CKR chassis is hand - TIG welded by CKR's experienced artisans, in an effort to increase the life of the chassis over traditional welding practices.
With the Sniper SA1 alignment system as standard, adjusting chassis settings on the Halibut is made simple and customize-able to the driver's preference. Fully-adjustable hubs, bearings, and dual-piston braking system allow for fine-tuning of the karts handling and performance.
The Halibut comes standard with aluminum components, but the sprocket and brake hubs can be exchanged for lighter weight components if and when the time comes that the owner wishes to do so.
When it comes to slowing down, the Halibut has the driver covered, with a fully hydraulic braking caliper utilized to stop the kart. Brake pads are easy to exchange, and the caliper is very intuitive to service.
Note that some TaG applications may not allow the use of front brakes, only one in the rear.

Purely as a reference as you begin to measure your own dimensions, an average adult male driver, height 6' 0", with waist 33-34 will fit a size 3 seat quite well.
For shipping of the Halibut chassis, typically overland, LTL freight carrier is the ideal mode for timely and cost-effective kart shipments. Once ordered, typical shipment time is 5 days - 1.5 weeks depending on destination. Point Karting.com has found that shipping directly to your nearest central shipping hub for a carrier is best, as this eliminates additional costs to the buyer, and is more reliable than a commercial or private residential delivery.
