Overview
The brake rotor carrier is an essential component to support the brake rotor and braking system during operation of the racing kart. Milled from aluminum, each brake rotor carrier by Kart Master is light weight, durable, and features dual cinch bolts for easy adjustment to align the rotor within the brake caliper, and keep it there! A dual cinch-bolt system is much more effective than a single-cinch-bolt carrier.
All the carriers shown here utilize an 8.0mm keyway slot for maximum grip on the axle around keyways. The only exception to this is the brake rotor hub carrier for 30mm axles, which also features a 6.0mm keyway.
All brake rotor hubs and carriers utilize 6 points to mount the rotor to the carrier. The aluminum brake hub carrier by Kart Master also utilizes this pattern, as well as reinforced milled shoulders to hold the rotor hub in place to minimize run-out of the rotor, and prevent rotor warping.
Depending on the kart and category, the axle diameter may change. As a result, it is important to select the correct brake rotor carrier for your application:
30.0mm: These 30.0mm brake rotor carriers are ideal for some Kid Kart applications, and almost all cadet / mini go karts. This sprocket carrier will fit perfectly on any 30mm axle, in either direction (with cinch bolts left or right depending on the brake caliper). The hub diameter of this rotor hub will not interfere with the caliper unlike some carriers that have an enlarged central shoulder.
Note - if you have a Kid Kart that utilizes a 25.0mm axle, this carrier will not work! Please see our other options for 25mm brake rotor carriers.
40.0mm: 40.0mm brake rotor carrier hubs are less common than 30 or 50, but are perfectly suited for many "4 cycle specific" go kart chassis that often utilize a 40mm axle. These hubs will fit perfectly on axles that feature a 40.0mm outer diameter, as the inner diameter of the brake rotor carrier hub is 40.0mm.
50.0mm: These rotor carriers are perfect for most full-size kart chassis. From low horsepower to high-horespower or shifter kart applications, most 50.0mm axles will be found in adult or full-size racing karts. These rotor carriers will slip over axles with a 50.0mm outer diameter.
***Note*** for 'floating' style brake rotor and brake systems, these rotor carriers will not work without significant modification. Point Karting strongly suggests perusing our CKR or DR Kart brake rotor hubs or carriers instead.
**Note** The 30mm brake disc carrier is now only available in red or blue. Black, Silver / Gunmetal, and Gold are now discontinued.

Technical Dimensions
Center-Center Bolt Pattern (Bolt Pattern Diameter) - 113.5-114.0 mm. This is the diameter of the 'circle' (relative to the central axis of rotation) created that passes through all the centers of the brake rotor flange bolt holes for attaching a rotor to this carrier.
